I have worked with students of all ages and from all walks of life. My favorite aspect of teaching is seeing the joy in someone's eyes once they've grasped a new skill and have created something they are proud of. Ensuring that each student is comfortable in the process of achieving improvement is my highest priority, and I emphasize progress over perfection.

Curriculum design has been a major aspect of my career as an art teacher and I am experienced at designing engaging lessons for all ages and ability levels.

Lessons can be customized to fit your desires concerning time frame (1-3 hours), topics (ex. face-painting, Intro to Drawing, or AP Art portfolio preparation), materials, and frequency (one-time, series, or on-going).

On average my rate is $50/ hour--- if interested in one-on-one art lessons please contact me. Please include in your message a description of the type of lessons you are seeking and the goals you are wishing to accomplish.

I had the pleasure to work with Ms. Chopin for several years and I am still singing her praises.  Not only did she show daily professionalism she was also able to successfully couple this with her passion for art.  This passion was very contagious and because of this, her students loved to work with her as she positively pulled the artistic abilities out of every one of her students.  The art that was produced in her classroom, by student who came in with very little “talent” left with amazing pieces that they were very proud of.  Because of Ms. Chopin, the artistic capabilities along with self-esteem of her students grew greatly.

Molly is a very insightful teacher. She helped me develop a very solid background for studying studio art by tailoring projects to what I was interested in learning and what I would need to know. I progressed more in one month with her help than I did in my entire high school education.
